We continue
now to prepare the future ringing season. We have just finished the extension of
the entrance flaps of the Helgoland trap. We also arranged upstream of the trap
young shrubs in pots "to fill" the lack of vegetation.
Ringing is
not outdone this week by the realization on the Fort-Vert polders of one
ringing chicks operation of lapwings as well as our second session of the
protocol STOC in the dune. The total is better with 39 captures, to note the
ringing of one Icterine Warbler as well as our first young of the year of a Long-Tailed
Tit.
