Last week,
the station welcomed for the third consecutive year the ringing training course
as well as the qualification exam to become ringer. As usual, there was really
a great atmosphere!
Concerning
sparrows, it was very quiet, not to say that there were no birds.... On the
other hand we were “saved" by a great diversity and the capture of
exceptional species which cheered up our
ringing mornings. These include: 2 Redstarts, Pied Flycatcher (23 ringed until now),
two Tree Pipits, two Wrynecks, one new ringed Nuthatch, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker,
1 Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, another Hobby! (In the trap this time), 1
Corncrake also in the trap! and yesterday one Buzzard in the canopy!!
Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos minor).
Wryneck (Jynx torquilla).
Nuthatch (Sitta europaea).
Corncrake (Crex crex).
Buzzard (Buteo buteo).
The training course team.
From left to right and top to bottom : Samuel Havet, Savina Bracquart, Jeremy Maingueneau, Pierre Fiquet, Bernard Lovigny, Mikael Jaffre, Camille Duponcheel, Remi Fondeux (belle grimace...! ;) ), Xavier Gruwier, Jean Delannoy, Albert Millot, Manon Ghislain, Sylvie Desgranges, Sylvain Courant, Renaud Allart, Jean-Claude Guillo et Cindy Fournier.
